A typical day at our customer support

Cecilia Haleen is one of Opter’s skilled support staff.
As a member of the support team, she has been answering our customers’ questions and giving them support during her working day for the past two years, which is a task that she really enjoys.

What does a typical day at work look like?
My working day can be very varied, but during a typical day I primarily answer incoming calls and issues submitted by email. It is usually possible to help customers straight away, but sometimes a more thorough investigation is required together with colleagues in other teams, such as our expert developers. Although I can’t always solve every problem myself, I obtain the information required to analyze the problem in more detail.

What is the best thing about working at Opter, in your opinion?

My nice and thoughtful colleagues! Everyone helps each other in a way that I have never experienced at previous workplaces. It’s also great when you feel that you can help solve a problem that a customer has. If our customers are satisfied with the help they receive, I also feel happy.

Are you currently working on any interesting projects?
The support team has started up an additional alternative to our normal support, in which we arrange webinars for our customers. These have proven to be greatly appreciated.

What sort of person would like working as part of Opter’s support team?
To enjoy working in Opter’s support team you should like interacting with other people and be thorough in terms of taking in all the details about the issues we receive. As Opter provides software for transport solutions, it is of course a nice bonus if you are interested in technology as well.

What do you do in your leisure time?
When I’m not at work I enjoy being out in the countryside, preferably with some coffee and tasty snacks so that I can stay out a little longer if I find a nice spot. I also enjoy making home improvements and meeting friends.
