Opter is growing in Denmark

In order to be able to serve our Danish customers even better, we recently became a little bit more Danish.

As more and more Danish companies choose to use Opter, the number of customer support and deployment tasks is also increasing. Martin Højgaard Olsen and Anders Skyt are based at the head office in Stockholm.

Martin has worked with both support and deployment at Opter for a long time, and over the past year he has been helping new Danish customers get started with Opter. He is from Copenhagen and has an IT background from the transport and construction industry.

I love getting out and about and meeting customers. Then I can listen in and observe how the various companies work. I map processes and work together with the customers to identify ways to optimise their business operations.

Anders Skyt, who provides customer support in Danish, was also born in Denmark but has lived in Sweden for 22 years. He found the job at Opter when Martin posted in a Facebook group for Danes living in Sweden. Anders has extensive experience of working from Sweden to assist Danish customers.

A few weeks ago, he was joined is this work by a new colleague, Michael Gaasedal. Michael is based in Denmark and works with deployment and installation for new Danish customers.

To help our customers get the most out of the system, extensive online documentation with help articles is available. The entire documentation has now been translated into all the Nordic languages, so that has also become a bit more Danish as well.

So, what do Martin and Anders think are the best aspects of Denmark and Sweden?

Martin
Denmark: That you are never more than 52 kilometres from the sea.
Sweden: The Swedish countryside and mountains. And the people, who have a very laid-back attitude to life.

Anders
Denmark: The Danish Dynamite (the national football team). The pride when the whole country cheers for the national football team.
Sweden: The permissive, kind and child-friendly society and the strong belief in the equal value of everyone.
