Avantego Oy has existed in its current form since 2020, but the company’s roots in the industry go back to the early 2000s. Its operations cover large parts of southern Finland, where under the KOTIISI-Kerralla kuntoon brand it offers a comprehensive service for the supply and installation of kitchen appliances.

“The possibility to integrate with our customers’ platforms was crucial. In addition, the user-friendly interfaces for both drivers and end customers are a major competitive advantage,” says Avantego’s founder Janne Puustinen.

The results of the digitalisation are visible throughout the flow. Administration has been automated and the system handles all invoicing, which has reduced the need for manual labour. At the terminal, digital scanning has streamlined picking by several hours a day, and any delivery discrepancies are reported directly via the driver app.

The speed of the system makes it possible to maintain a level of service that was not previously possible. “As a result of the real-time data, our customers receive immediate information about any transport damage, for example. An order for a replacement product may have been issued even before the customer has had time to contact us,” says Janne Puustinen.

For Avantego, Opter is an important part of its continuing profitable growth.
