This Privacy Policy applies to all the web pages under opter.com. We are responsible for processing personal data collected on the website. This also applies to personal data that is stated in agreements relating to our service.

Examples of personal data that we collect:

  • Contact
  • Company address/billing address
  • Telephone number and email address
  • Information about the use of the website. This can include the individual pages that have been visited, browser settings and the IP address.

We do not collect personal data such as personal ID numbers or payment method details via the website.

How we collect information

We collect information on our web pages using forms. Filling in such forms is completely voluntary. If you provide information via these forms, they specify for what purpose the information will be used. The purpose of the information that is requested:

We create profiles based on information that we obtain in order to, for example, be able to provide you with good support. The profiles are based on information that you voluntarily give us.

How we store information

Information obtained via forms on opter.com is stored in our CRM system and our Marketing Automation System, MAS, which is used for automated marketing.

How long we retain your data

We only store your personal data for as long as this is necessary to be able to manage the customer relationship or other free services. We delete data about contacts that are no longer active with us, and on request. The latter can be done by contacting our support.

We do not pass on such data to third parties

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties, but we may use subcontractors to provide parts of the website. Such subcontractors may process personal data on behalf of Opter. In such cases, the information can only be used for the stated purpose, and to ensure data security, we enter into data processor agreements with all the companies with which information is shared.

Information security

We work continuously with information security to protect our users’ data. We use both technical and organisational measures to ensure that the level of security is as high as possible. These measures include anonymisation, access control and deletion procedures.

Rights

As a user of our website, opter.com, you have the right to view details of how your personal data is processed. You can also request corrections to, restrictions on or deletion of your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. You can contact our support if you want your information to be deleted or amended.

If the processing of your personal data requires your consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time.
