Since Flemmings Containertransport started using Opter, it has gained a better overview and has more time for other tasks, says owner Anders Kjeldgaard. The company employs ten people and works with waste management, container rental, shipping of construction materials and crane assembly.
When Flemmings was choosing a new TMS system, it was Opter that best suited its needs for order management, order reception, planning, monitoring and invoicing.
“The Driver app also makes a big difference in terms of allowing us to see where the vehicles are during the day. We will also start using automatic notifications and the booking portal, so that customers can book shipments themselves.”
Where previously phone calls, text messages and other roundabout ways of communication were required, the Opter Driver app has made it easy to send all the necessary information about a shipment. The driver immediately gets the photos, freight bills and other documents.
Anders Kjeldgaard also thinks that Opter can help Flemmings Containertransport in other ways in the future, for example regarding the market’s increasing need for reports. “We have high requirements regarding CO2 and environmental reporting in our industry, and Opter can help with that. This makes a big difference in our sales work,” he concludes.
